Love loves to serve when there is so much need around. Ability to serve however is only acquired in the quiet of the presence of the Lord, the perfect servant. There, we will not see or be seen by others but see and be seen by “Jesus only”. Then we can really become channels of blessing to others sharing from the store gathered in His presence both spiritual treasures and wise practical intervention to meet the needs of men (1 John 3:18).
Every believer should earnestly covet the best gifts (1 Cor. 12:31) and the spiritual energy to use responsibly whatever the Lord had endowed one with to the enrichment of others. The gifts are given to profit all and all can also bring profit to others in serving one another in love (Gal. 5;13).
